Daniel Hu, MD

Cataract & Cornea Specialist

Dr. Hu is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical care of cornea and external eye diseases. He provides advanced treatment for conditions including corneal transplantation, pterygium excision, ocular surface reconstruction, cataract surgery, complex intraocular lens procedures, and vision-correcting surgeries for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

Dr. Hu earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL, and completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Storm Eye Institute, serving as Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at Tufts-New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and regional ophthalmology societies. Dr. Hu is committed to providing modern, compassionate care and closely monitors patients with corneal disorders to ensure optimal outcomes.
