Allison E. Resnik, MD

Dr. Resnik provides full-spectrum eye care, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each patient. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, dry eye disease, glaucoma interventions, diabetic retinopathy, and eyelid surgery.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, graduating summa cum laude, and her Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, graduating cum laude. At Georgetown, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Ophthalmology Achievement Award.

Dr. Resnik completed her internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and her ophthalmology residency at Tufts Medical Center/New England Eye Center in Boston, where she served as Chief Resident.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New England Ophthalmological Society, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Starting September 30, 2024, Dr. Resnik will be providing comprehensive eye care at OCB locations in Plymouth, Sandwich, and Yarmouth.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Resnik enjoys running, skiing, sailing, and hiking. She and her husband live on the South Shore with their goldendoodle, Marley.
