Dr. Englander is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of retinal diseases. She provides expert care for conditions including macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular occlusions, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal detachments, and proliferative vitreoretinopathy.

Born and raised in Israel, Dr. Englander earned her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her internship at Weill-Cornell Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, and her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Englander has authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles, presented nationally, and participated in clinical trials for age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. She combines advanced surgical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care to help preserve and improve vision.
